Howdy! New member here from North Texas. Just purchased a 1959 Suburban. Gonna be a fun restoration. Body is mostly good. Nice 235 with a granny trans. I want to get her back into a set of stock rims asap. Is 15 x 5.5 (with hub clips) a typical size? And of course I'm seeking what, I would assume many others are seeking, a set of original seats (insert howling coyote sounds here!). If I eventually run into a solid wall on original seats, may I ask, will earlier or later Carryall seats fit my '59?? Or how about, does anyone have an idea for seats that might give it a "somewhat original look? I assume the front seat is tough, being the 66/33 split and all. Very much looking forward to absorbing some serious "Old Burb" knowledge from you all! Thanks again!
