Mine is a 1946 Suburban with clam shell/tailgate. It was built in Janesville, WI and first a school bus in NE Nebraska. After that it was a delivery vehicle for a John Deer dealer. They painted green fenders on the all yellow body.
When I purchased it everything was there except the engine, transmission and seats.
It is staying original except for front disc brakes, 235 engine, turn signals, LED lights and 12 volt system. I will have seats built as I get closer to completion
Currently the body is complete and painted and the engine will be dropped in next week.
I hope to have it on the road in December of this year.
