Check to see if you have power to the coil. Also, make sure the wires are not attached backwards on the coil. The coil has a + for positive and a - for the negative. Positive should be connected to the wire from the wiring harness (which goes down to the starter) and the distributor should be connected to the - side of the coil.
Or, you may just have a bad coil
