Michelle, your repair manual should explain how to check your timing to see if something has slipped like Dusty suggested- if not holler out and someone here can take you through the steps. When you mentioned that it kept loosing power and changed the manifold and carb, it sounded more like the timing going bad. Checking the timing and making sure the plug wires are on the cap correctly should be very easy. then if you have spark and fuel with compression it is go down the road time.
