I just looked at my 1951 Chevrolet suburban seat riser.Looks like mine is spot welded along both sides and front.There is a cross brace behind the seat riser that runs the width of the cab.There are two spot welds on each side attaching to the cross brace.I see no other spot welds and no bolts on mine.
