Don, have you had any luck finding more info on putting the W motor in your truck? I'd be interested in hearing about that swap, too.

We have a '58 Apache 2 w/s 3100 short bed Fleetside, and also a 348 that I, too, would like to drop in. Our truck has a 2nd-gen Camaro subframe, so my situation is a bit different...
