I removed my front windshield assembly and attempted to disassemble the frame. With my luck all the screws snapped off and the center v supports were rusted in and broke apart. What a job it was to remove the glass. I was able to save the vertical piece in the center and made new v brackets that slip in the frames.
My question is do the parts suppliers offer the gaskets that hold the glass in the frame? Also kind of confused as to what outer gasket to get. I think they sell a one piece gasket, but not sure how you can put the frame together and get the new outer gasket in at the same time if it is one piece. Can some one who has replaced there glass give me some pointers?
