I'm keeping mine the way it came from the factory-including newer bias-ply 20" rubber. I'm planning on adding shocks,(front and rear),to help soften the ride,and less road vibration,(body stress).My friend has a '59 viking 60 bus,(with shocks),and it rides pretty smoothly,for a big truck. Then again,it's a long wheel-base. The shorter the frame,the rougher the ride,as mentioned by Whitedog.
