Are you saying the choke butterfly is actually pushing the cable and the knob out from the dash like you pulled it close? WOW. I've never seen a cable that lose. Are you sure its the right cable? My Jeep, GMC, and Chevvy cables are all fairly tight and I don't see how it would move unless I put a firm hand on it.
