| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | The transmissions are essentially the same from 55-1 (open driveline) through 61. The main differences are the side covers for the 55 6 cylinder trucks where the 2-3 shift lever is clocked up and the 1-R is down. Later trucks have both levers pointing down and use the shift box with the dog leg.
