Using the procedure in the manual, hand checking the balls tightness, is critical to get a joint leak free. This process took a while for me, mostly because my collar (around the ball) was bent. Check that when you have it all apart, saves a lot of time....

Also, when you have everything back together, make sure you fill the ball with a pint of gear oil per manual.
