Its going thru the key switch and the ampmeter but the draw is gone after the heavy wire is removed from the alt. I should think that if the ign switch or the ampmeter were shorted the draw would still be there as the ground source would still be there. But am I correct in my thinking that there should be no continuity to gound thru the alternator?
