It's really not hard to do. Get rid of the old regulator, and the 3 or 4 wires that are with it. Run a 10# gauge wire from the starter sol. post where the + battery cable is hooked up... up to the battery post on the new alt. There should be a flat 2 wire plug on the alt, with a#1 and a #2 mark buy it, Hook up the #2 wire to the same post on the back of the alt. that you put that heavy wire from the starter on. The #1 wire should go to the acc. side fo your ign. switch. Thats it.If you have any questions, call me at 319-752-1036 ,Larry
