I have a 61 1/2 ton that was changed for a generator to an alternator before I purchased it. Now I am having trouble with the external regulator. I have a newer alternator from an 81 chevy. Is changing from an external regulator to an alternator with an internal regulator difficult? I know hardly anything about electrical work so please keep it simple. :confused:
