| | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | I just went and looked at a 48 GMC 1 ton and the grille sticks out a LOT more than my 53 grille. Mine is basically flush with the surround piece but this one pictured here sticks out 6-8 inches. Did the grilles change sometime between 48 and 53? The truck looks to be all original so I don't think there has been any "engineering" going on. | | |
