Here is a couple of photos of the regulator in question:

I am betting this is really a generator regulator in spite the fact they advertised it a an alternator regulator.
If it a generator regulator any reason why I couldn't use it with the 1955 or later generator on my 54 3100?
I acquires 55 and later part to convert to 12 volt.
