Recently purchased on the eBay I had a "DOH" moment and purchased a voltage regulator that turns out to be for a 1960s GM alternator. It was early in the morning and I was not fully awake. It looks just like a regulator that is for a generator system. The 3 terminals, left to right, are marked Bat, Arm, Fld.
Can a voltage regulator stated for an alternator system work on a generator system?
