I though it would be a good idea to stick a third brake light low in the rear window of my '49 1/2T pu. I got what looks like a pretty good light from J.C. Whitney, and the Whitney catalog recommended adding a logic circuit it sold so the 3d light didn't blink every time I braked and signaled a turn.
Wiring the logic circuit was easy -- one wire to left stop light, one to right, the last to the 3d light.
I've got the 3d light grounded to the frame, but the light comes with loony pictures (no diagrams) and instructions just about translated from Chinese. So where does the 3d light get its power? From the brakelight switch ahead of the flasher? If it does, why all this business with the logic circuit?
