i just used a red clearance lamp (double filiment) from 'flaps' and it works great, @ only $3.00 in my neighborhood.
i wired the two filaments together and connected that one wire to the brake lamp wire & drilled two holes. this clearance lamp grounds thru the mounting bolts to the chassis.
done in 1/2 hour.
