Check out "Youtube's" video: "The Blue Truck:Pauly Built". It features a '65 G.M.C. 4000 2-ton,pulling a tandem "pup" trailer. During harvest, this truck hauls 2,100-mile round-trips a day! Engine is a 305E.They have plenty of torque, and plenty of power. just not so great on fuel economy.I,personally like the 305's,since I owned two of them, and they lasted longer than the sheet metal. I think they're VERY dependable. If you can get the engine to run,it's worth the money. It may be worth it anyway,if the rest of the drive-train is salvagable. Also inner door panels, gauge cluster, heater [censored]'y,wiper [censored]'y,etc. Parts is parts.
