Not to change the subject but because of the title I'll ask it here. I ran across a 62 GMC 4wd with a 305 engine. It's an old farm truck, all sheetmetal is shot and in general its pretty rough shape but the owner says the engine will run and the 4wd works.
Couldn't find much wrong with the frame either, but been told those motors were boat anchors. I'm thinking about using the rolling frame for a future project but not sure if its worth the trouble. Owner say's he can get $350 for scrap and won't budge. Is it worth it?
