Likely a dumb question, but...
1. As I don't have a 1/2 ton around to compare to... are the front hood emblems the same on a COE as on the 1/2-tons?
2. Also, two of my COE's have the 'regular' Chevrolet emblems on the side, the 3rd COE (48) has Loadmaster under the Chevrolet. Was it a different model or just trim variation?

The COE front emblem in 1948 was different from other 1948 truck front emblems. 2. The single Thriftmaster or Loadmaster side emblem was used from 1947 through the middle of 1949. From mid-49 through 1952, two emblems were used on both sides of the hood ("CHEVROLET" over "the series number").
By the way, are you a professional brewer or a home brewer (I home brew).
