The GMC's don't have the babbit bearing 6 cylinder engines. Plus after dis-assembling several COE's of both makes, I could see the GMC trucks were sturdier built, than the Chevrolet's. I was a Chevrolet COE guy all the way,(I've owned probably 25 Chevy COE's) until I bought my first GMC (only owned 4 GMC COE's). I wouldn't have it any other way now.
