i put a relay in between ign switch and solenoid, routed normally closed post to horn, the switched post to solenoid. a lead to battery and another to a momentary contact switch hidden up under the dash.
if i try to start the truck without pushing button my horn sounds. pushing the button and turning the key starts the truck.
i don't have to remember to 'arm' system or anything; it's always 'on'.
