#96077 06/24/2006 7:25 PM | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 571 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 571 | Sometimes the contacts inside the switch get a little worn & bent with age. I removed my original switch, bent the tabs on the back and took it apart. I then sanded the contacts a little and bent them in so as to provide a little more contact pressure and it works like new now. The repops are mostly junk so this is a worthwhile task. Run a little sandpaper over the dimmer coil too and she should work good as new. Good Luck  | | |
