Update: i was unable to find the right cable for the 1950 huck ebrake. I was able to buy a yoke mechanism (part no. me186, i think) from carter which attaches to the newer style bendix cable (the cable which is more commonly sold). i had to grind down a little the bar at the end of the cable and the round portion of the ebrake lever (inside the drum) so that the lever would rotate without getting hung up on the cable bar. i haven't put the brakes back together so i'm not sure if i've resolved my ebrake issue but i'm a step closer. thanks.
