Starting in 1951 Chev changed from Huck to Bendix brakes.
The cable they sold you is for the 1951-54 Bendix brakes.
I have used those cables on a Huck truck by slicing the little yoke enough to get it off an old cable and installing it on the new cable. Then tack weld the cut back together.
