If you put a new master in the stock location it saves you the effort of reinforcing the firewall (I've heard tales of cracked firewalls from the stress of the pedals). I don't know how a new master will fit under the '59 floor, but on my AD the resevoir does not match the fill hole in the floor. A remote filler on a "stock location" master would be my choice.
