46gmcpu 'Bolter 4 Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 Alberta, Canada	I had a 235 in my '62 Bel Air with a powerglide and it would cruise all day at 70 MPH, and would even go more than that if needed. It would still be in the car if I didn't have issues rebuilding it. Your issue is with your gear setup (and throttle linkage, it sounds like), not with the engine. 1946 GMC Pickup - S-10 Frame, 455 Buick, TH400, original patina. My 46 GMC on Photobucket
