I ended up purchasing a complete new speedometer mechanism from American Classic Truck and put it in my existing housing. The replacement looks very true to the original except the color of the needle which is white tipped and mine was more beige. Some new parts are brass and the others were steel or another metal. New screws are Phillips and the original screws were slotted. Overall a very nice replacement.
