Continuing the saga of repairing my speedometer. How does one remove the plastic gear in the speedometer housing behind the magnet? I tried the tech tips and other topics but can't quite determine how to remove that plastic gear. It has a round cap on the outside that might be the answer but there is no obvious way to remove that cap.
