I'm trying to make my 49 as stock looking as possible, but it has a chrome valve cover. I'm pretty sure these were not put on the new trucks in 1949. Am I wrong? None of the usual vendors sell anything BUT chrome ones. Tell me if I'm wrong and where can I find one? Thanks.
