hey guys/gals: I'm putting the crank vent tube back on my motor and I believe that the little bracket on the down tube gets bolted on with one of the oil pan bolts. Unfortunately the oil pan has a lip all the way around that prevents the bracket from sitting flat on the pan. Is there supposed to be a notch or something cut in the lip that allows the vent bracket to sit flat and keep the bolt flush on the pan?
