Removed hood to paint the inside and its components. When removing the 3 bolts on each side there was what looked like pipe dope in the threads. I am assuming at some point in this trucks life this was added to hold them in place as I don't see any reference to it in the shop manual. Has anyone else found this as well? If I need to add some it will be much easier to do it now before its back on the truck. Thanks Steve
