Here is a video clip of a flowmaster 50 (non SUV) on a single straight pipe exhaust, ( )I like the sound on this one, but I have no real world experience with it...I just found this clip the other day. I had glass packs on another vehicle, and found them too loud also...
I KNOW it isn't on a stovebolt, but the Land Cruise inline-6 is supposed to be a copy of the 216 or 235, so good enough for me to get an idea on what it sounds like.
