I just had my Fenton headers installed and the two mufflers I chose, 24" steel packs, are just too darn loud for me. I love the purr at idle and cruise but it gets that loud rap rap sound as you get up in rpm's and between shifts unless I time the shift carefully. When I had single exhaust with stock exhaust it was too quiet...did not purr or sound like an inline six should sound.
So...what mufflers do you guys with duals like? I was thinking of Flowmasters and there are many models of them and dunno how they all sound.
Also,...could these muffs I have on now cause my engine to over heat...it got up near 212 yesterday !
