I am upgrading to an internally regulated AC Delco 10SI 63 Amp alternator and I have one more connection than I expected. I understand the 1 (exciter), 2 (voltage sensing), and Batt (obvious) connections, but there is also a rather large bolt on the back of the unit that looks like it should have something under it. I suspect that is may be either a mounting bolt for a different application or a ground point. Anybody got any better ideas? | | |
