Trying to decide what to do with the paint on my Dad's 40 Chev. Its all original but getting oxidized and has spots where paint is even gone. Not sure if I should use some 1500 wet sand paper to smooth things and then a light buff or what to do. I know that some of the areas on the hood have a light rust forming on the spots so I have to do something with it.
