When i got my 54 in 1983 it had 55,000 showing but the speedo was cable was broken. since July of 2008 i have put 18,000 on it. After thinking about it for awhile i remembered i had registration slips for some of the previous owners and in 1978 it had 47,000 so the mileage when i got it may have been close. it changed hands 4 times in 6 years, some of the slips had no mileage listed. one did have the guys social security #.
