Personally I don't understand why people want these trucks to have a primer look? GM never ever sent them out of the factory with primer on them. The thing about the dull primer look is it has an affinity for grease marks and since it is a porus finish I'm sure lots of other things soak into it nicely too. Bird poo too. The whole reason for a shine and waxing is to close and fill the pores in the paint, to prevent water soak through and the resultant rust. Just leave a car cover on for some time in a wet climate and you get blisters, I have seen lots of blistered paint because of it.
