My truck is painted with Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000 base coat.
there is no clear on it
...<pic>... I would like to knock down the shine and dull the finish.
I attempted matte clear coat on a test area but I'm not a painter and when I sprayed the clear it frosted and balled on the test area.
I realize the truck will eventually have to be repainted and base coat will not hold up.
Until I can repaint it is there a way to dull the finish?
I co-worker suggested hitting it with a scotch pad?
any suggestions?
