That looks like what is called "satin" finish. I'm not really understanding why you're wanting to dull it down as it looks mighty dull as it is. Good luck though!
I think the pic your looking at is the one I took before the sun came up.
The first pic in the thread shows the shine/ glare I'm refering to.
