Google ethanol and carburators, lots of good reads. I purchased my 52 Chevy truck six months ago w/283, Holly 600, don't know what the owner used to fill up with, but since I've had it have decided not to use it in my old truck or lawnmower. Local boaters here prefer to avoid it as well, some will use it with stabil.
