| | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 | Cut the top part off of each column BELOW the point where the mast is, weld the 39 top on the 41-46 bottom and reassemble.
I did this on my 37 and it works great. Be sure the length of the 39 is the same as the 41-46 column and if there is a difference, make that up in your cut so your final length will be the 39 length.
