For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 | I conclude that I will have to separate the transmission from the bell housing as it will not clear the cross member. Will a transmission jack support it underneath or should I get another cherry picker and support it thru the passenger side door? Does this mean that I won't have to disconnect the drive shaft? What does this set up for surprises as far as alignment etc when Its time to go back together? Maybe I ask too many questions and end up making things worse than they are? And my wife wonders why I drink. LOL Thanks again Jerry Jerry
