GVW = Gross Vehicle Weight (what was included by GM in that fully-loaded weight is given at the links above)
The difference between the GVW and curb weight is the payload (defined at the links above).
If you would like to know the GM rating for what % of payload was carried over the rear axle as apposed to the % payload carried over the front axle, that information is in the Truck Data Book. I'll post that information, if you are interested.
A rough estimate (from my weak and untrustable memory) is less than 10% of payload was weight on the front axle/wheels and more than 90% of payload was weight on the rear axle/wheels (depending on the model of the truck).
