Over that time period, the drums were switched from smooth to finned. Does anyone know if those later finned drums are the same diameter/depth as the older smooth drums? Were there drum size differences between H052 and H072 axles? If the finned drums are deeper, will they cause tire fitment problems on a '54 if the later brake parts are retrofitted? Am I nuts for even thinking about this? | | |
