| | | | Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 112 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 112 | I just purchased a new clutch kit for a 1951 chevy three on the tree,not because it was bad or slipping but because 60 year old friction material had me worried.The question is the new pressure plate is lighter than the old and since AZ does not want a CORE,I was going to put the old heavy pressure plate back with the new disc and put the new on the the side for later. Any pros or cons on doing it that way? Thanks for any feed back. | | |
