| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | 60 year old friction material has you worried, but 60 year old pressure plate springs don't? there really is no 'pro' for not installing a complete clutch kit while it's apart, especially if you have it, the 'con' is you'll likely be doing the work again sooner if you don't .... and don't skip having the flywheel resurfaced
