Thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention that I put in the harness. Seemed idiot proof, but they never met me! Seriously though, the Chevy Duty harness is pretty straight forward. I called their tech dept. and they suggessted an internally regulated one wire alt. But wwhat do I do with the wires that go to the regulator? I've read several posts here that speak up for for both types of alternator.
